Students at this level have some systematic knowledge of English. The course is to help students to become more proficient readers and writers of English through reading and composing academic writings using standard structure and writing process(es) .At this level can understand a regular mainstream of conversation on familiar topics such as school and main encounters. This course is to further develop spoken English skills through communicating with native speakers, among others.

Students at the intermediate level are able to communicate with native speakers in most social situations, but their fluency and control may still be weak in one or more areas. Instruction at this level provides fairly intensive practice with English focusing development of vocabulary and core communication structures

Students in this class focus on develop vocabulary idiomatic American English and slang phrases. Students increases their familiarity with idiomatic English to facilitate comprehension and production of idioms in spoken and written discourse.

This Intermediate-High course will focus on English grammar forms and structures through listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. Students will listen to oral stories and dialogues learn conversation strategies, write main ideas and supporting details, conclusions and inferences, paragraph structure, transition words and complex sentences.
